Overview

In Muppets In Moscow, Natasha Lance Rogoff retells the cultural upheavals in Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union. The story revolves around her role as a producer of Sesame Street during this time, and the violent consequences she faced being a progressive contrarian in a post-regime environment. 

Objective

To successfully garner publicity for the book’s launch tour in the United States and internationally, to increase the purchasing rate of the new book, and bolster awareness of Rogoff’s experiences and ideas.

Approach

We boosted the author’s social media presence by developing a strategic posting schedule, running targeted ad campaigns, and integrating SaaS tools to simplify content workflows. Our outreach secured major press coverage for the Muppets in Moscow book tour, including features on BBC and Publisher’s Weekly, while our proactive crisis management kept PR positive and momentum high.
