Overview
BLIBLO Studio is a solo indie game developer passionate about creating a restorative space using gaming to reconnect users to mindfulness and better their lives in the present. They’ve made Empower Your Intent(EYI), a game that encourages healthier relationships between technology and the brain, using principles of neuroscience, psychology, and meditation to improve selective attention and intrinsic motivation.
Objective
To educate about psychological well being within the context of our modern technological landscape using scientific research, motivate people to be more conscious of their relationship with their content consumption, and encourage deeper consideration of their long term aspirations. EYI gameplay is designed to induce a temporary flow state, allowing the mind to regulate dopaminergic impulses and improve decision making and motivation after playing.
Approach
Our target communities engage regularly with digital content that is intrinsically psychologically captivating. To illustrate scientific principles, we ideate, copywrite, and produce both short and long form social media content that uses nonchalance and absurdism to appeal to the humor of gamers and young adults while exposing users to educational content.
